Lucy and I with the Republic of Texas restaurant behind us. We have made memories at this place.

It was very cold! Some restaurants had blankets so that people could still sit out by the River Walk and stay warm.

Here we are trying to stay warm by a restaurants outside heater. My brother-in-law shoots his cork guns just as I snap the picture, attempting to scare us. He did scare us a time or so with these guns.

We are eating on porch of a restaurant which is along the River Walk. They had the curtains down to help keep the cold out. Great food!

We were returning from the Mexican Market back to the River Walk when we saw a Catholic church that intrigued us. We went inside and we saw the box that held the remains of Bowie, Crockett, Travis, and the others who died at the Alamo. I never realized that this was there.

Here is the Alamo where these men gave their lives.

Here we are taking a break from walk and getting free massages at Brookstone in the River Walk mall.

Across the street from the Alamo was The Ultimate Mirror Maze Challenge. Since it was a cold day business was slow so we had the maze all too ourselves. We had a lot of fun. It was a blast to laugh and have fun like a little kid again.

Here are a few us in the maze.

We put on 3D glasses to add another level of difficulty to the maze.

The River Walk is popular for its lights at Christmas time.
