The other night as I was driving some children home from Vacation Bible School I saw two Muslim men praying in a playground. They were kneeling together and praying towards Mecca. Nearby there were other men who were playing a game of basketball.

We are right in the middle of our 10 day Summer Bible School. We have had a few behavior problems, but overall things have been going well. The teachers are great; they have been giving giving their hearts for lives of their children.

Below is a picture of the superintendents. Pray as we continue to direct the last week of Bible School, that we would pour out our lives and work well together.

Also pray that we would not tear each other down. This hasn’t been a problem, because I am working with a great guy.

The other day I met one of the boys who used to come to my Bible study class. I asked where he was going and he replied, “To the masjid.” (There is a large masjid or mosque right close to where I live.) I saw him again later and wondered if he wanted to come to the Bible study, to which he replied, “I’m a Muslim.”
This reminds me of a nine-year-old girl. She is faced with the decision of weather she should be a Muslim or Christian.

Well, our annual Tent Meetings and Summer Bible School is here. We are very busy doing the last minute preparations for this. PLEASE PRAY

It also seems that the fireworks are slowing down since the Fourth. The continual banging from the fireworks was getting annoying.

We also went on an adult Sunday School picnic. We had a great time together.

Some of my Tuesday night Bible study guys and a couple of others went exploring one day. We came back and had some lunch together.

A couple of weeks ago some of us went fishing after dark. We fished (I actually didn’t fish) off a pier close to the airport. We got to see a tug boat pulling a boat. Our location was near one of the flight patters, so we were able to see some airplanes up close as they were coming in to land.
