Cat at Church

January 30th, 2007

We had a bit of commotion Tuesday evening at our children’s Bible study.  After one of our songs a cat starts making its way down the aisle, disrupting the children.  The cat must have snuck in when someone came in the door.  Well, the cat caught and then taken outside.  We regained order and continued the evening.

“I do not know this man.”

I have posted a link to a article and photo essay which I came across. I wonder what the future holds for such a person.
Please click here for the story.

Here is a verse that speaks volumes.

Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will listen to their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so people can no longer terrify them.

Psalm 10:17-18 NLT

Happy New Year

January 7th, 2007

I hope everyone has a stretching but fulfilling New Year.

Here is a picture of the city which I took in December.  It is taken off the Art Museum’s steps.  I was resting my camera on a construction cone, to add some stability to this night shot.
Straight ahead at the end of the parkway is City Hall.  We walked from City Hall to where I took this picture.  It was really cold.
